The Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit returns to glory by bringing car enthusiasts and petrol heads the South African leg of the Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli for the Kyalami 9 hour 2019 challenge. This world-class international motorsport event forms part of the only global GT3 championship and is set to take place from 21-23 November 2019.
With 30 cars already committed and competing from around the world, including South African drivers Jordan Pepper and Kelvin van der Linde, this prestigious race will be returning home after 37 years.
Alongside the Kyalami 9 Hour endurance race is an extensive festival programme filled with entertainment for all the family to join in on, including consumer activations, a main stage hosting South Africa’s hottest bands and DJs including Black Coffee, Prime Circle, Culoe da Song, MiCasa, Shakhina, Jullian Gomez to name a few, a Kid’s Zone, Sowetor Drift Academy showcase, car parades, VW Polo Cup & VW Challenge races, bars and food trucks plus plenty of outdoor fun (Detailed programme below)
